Making Quiet Things Visible

A romantic couple embraces in a golden field at sunset, surrounded by wildflowers and soft natural light.

A Different Way of Seeing

The whole, and the small things within it.

A place, a moment, a gesture—

and the details that might otherwise go unnoticed.

These images are made by moving between distance and closeness, between what is seen at a glance and what reveals itself with time.

A bee pollinating a pink blossom on a branch, and a woman in white dress touching cherry blossoms at golden sunset.
Sepia-toned collage of a father hugging his child and a couple walking a misty path through tall grass.
A couple holds hands in a lush peach orchard, with ripe peaches hanging from green leafy branches above.
Peaceful sleeping newborn baby wrapped in olive green knit blanket with tiny feet peeking out in professional studio photo.
Family portrait session at golden hour in a field, woman in red dress with child, warm sunset light.
Black and white collage of a baby in overalls and a party hat surrounded by stuffed animals outdoors.
Black and white farm scene with barn and tractor above a golden sunset couple embracing in a lush green field.
Close-up of a spiral snail shell among autumn leaves, and two young blonde girls playing outdoors in a black and white photo.

“The photos don’t just show what happened—they make you feel like you’re there in the moment.

The storytelling and the way the landscape was included made it such a unique experience.”

The Journal

The sandbar

Each day, I awake

Rowing to the special place

Waiting for the tide turned low

From below a sandbar is emerging

In this place that once was not

I let out my full breadth of thoughts

Worries, dreams, anger—

All the same

They find a spot to rest

Grains now intermixed

Each indistinct

Part of a greater whole

And as I sit and watch and wait

The tide starts slowly rising

Layer by layer, sand and water meet

What was solid now is blurring

The last now gone, all at rest

Tucked in a watery bed below

I thank the waves for witnessing

Goodbye until tomorrow
